Don't Just Take Our Word For It...

One of the greatest lessons I’ve learned in life is that applying the right information in your life will bring you the right results. The Financial Fitness Program taught me the truth about finances that I never learned growing up, and I’m more than grateful for being introduced to this information at the age that I was! I always thought that I was better than average with the management of my finances, but my continuous lack of results in the right direction was a smack in the face. The ‘Green Box’ eventually showed me that I had some things to learn. Talk about a piece of humble pie! When the Financial Fitness Program was introduced to me I was going to school full-time and working 2 part-time jobs, living paycheck to paycheck and neglecting my savings account. At the time I hated spending money but still rewarded myself with things that I wanted because I felt I had deserved it with all the hard work I’d been putting in. I always had just enough money to pay my bills and whatever was left went into the ‘I Deserve It’ fund. I was always thinking and stressing over money! I tried to pack as many labor hours in the day as possible just to get more of it, and consequently it was taking a huge toll on the health of my mind and body. Eventually, I had some close friends and family tell me I was burning the candle at both ends and needed to go get tested for depression and anxiety, and when I did my results were through the roof! I had the highest anxiety levels possible – this ‘money thing’ was literally killing me - and I was only 20!! So far, after just over 8 months, I’ve paid off over $7,000 in debt including credit cards and personal loans and I’m just a couple months shy of paying off my car loan. I’ve put several thousand dollars in my savings account and in an emergency fund (I promise the pillow is softer now!), whereas before I could hardly keep a balance in any account! I’ve also accumulated hundreds of dollars in gold! I no longer live paycheck to paycheck or battle with depression or high anxiety levels, and I feel so much more secure in my finances! Whereas before I dreaded waking up the next day to have the ‘money thing’ eating away at me yet again, now I’m so excited for the future and I’m just getting started! I also haven’t increased my income at all, in fact I actually left my second job; all I’ve done is applied the information I’ve learned from the ‘Green Box’ into my life. I can’t wait to share my testimony of what this powerful information is doing in my life with even more people because this program offers hope to everyone, and best of all… IT WORKS!!

My husband DJ and I really started applying the principles of the Financial Fitness Program in November of 2014. We started our debt snowball by selling a costly truck and purchasing an old van for cash and applying that payment to the snowball. Then, we decided to ramp things up and we sold a rental home and a duplex that we owned. Using the equity from that, we paid off about $230,000 worth of debt and have the lowest monthly expenses we have ever had in our marriage. We also have two months of expenses saved up. Unfortunately, we still have a student loan and a credit card left, but with the money and knowledge we now have, those debts will be gone before we know it!!
